Group Daycare / Early Childhood Educators

Ana Cassidy

Owner / Director

As a certified Early Childhood Educator, I am very passionate about my philosophies and approaches to childcare. I am very proud to be implementing my self-created Guiding & Caring Staff Training Program right here at Neverland called IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LANGUAGE. Childcare of the highest quality can only result when parents and caregivers communicate openly and work together. This Parent-Teacher method of team playing is what allows us to support the development of each individual child which is our goal here at Neverland.

Kiana Mills

Kiana Mills

Music Teacher

Kiana Mills is thrilled to be a part of the Neverland Team. She is the Music teacher here at the Centre, and enjoys showing the Children the love for Music and Movement!

Kiana has an extensive performance and vocal background. Starting at the age of 4, she classically trained with some of the top vocal coaches in Canada. She eventually moved on to studying speech level singing, transitioning to Pop/R&B while still having a classically trained ear. Winning The BC Junior Talent search led her to open for Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Johnny Reid and more at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival for consecutive years.

Kiana also graduated with distinction from Vancouver Acting School for On-Camera Acting and Audition. In her free time, Kiana loves to work on film sets, travel, and spend time with her family.

Catherine Read

Language Arts Teacher

My name is Catherine Read and I am so happy to be a part of Neverland! I have a very diverse background, with degrees in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Art education and Education. When I have spare time I love creating artwork – painting, drawing, paper mache, cake decorating… you name it! However, I don’t have a lot of extra time with one husband, three children, two guinea pigs, two chinchillas, one rabbit and two fish at home! My passion lies in working with children to help them reach their potential. This includes developing curriculum, creating individualized learning plans, challenging children and introducing them to new ideas and concepts. As a certified teacher I have worked as a Director at Sylvan Learning Centre and have taught at all levels of education, from preschool through university and the most important thing I have learned is that learning must be fun. If it is fun for the teacher and the students then everyone benefits!

School Aged Teachers

Sean Cassidy

School Aged Teacher

I’m Sean and I’ve been a part of the Neverland team since January 2018. I am currently enjoying a break from the student life and am working full time at the centre, primarily in room A. When I’m not working, I spend the majority of my spare time being physically active, whether it be lifting weights, playing soccer, swimming, hiking, or my new found love of yoga. When I’m at Neverland, it hardly feels like work when I enjoy so much of what the job entails: playing games, organizing activities, and of course, physical activity. I recognize that by spending time with the children day to day, I am instrumental in their development and so I approach every day with a positive attitude with my the goal of maintaining a beneficial learning environment. I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had here at Neverland so far and look forward to all the good times yet to come.

jordan worsnop

Jordan Worsnop

School Aged Teacher

Hello parents and guardians of Neverland, my name is Jordan Worsnop!

I am thrilled to be back working for the centre after taking three years off. My passion has always been to work with children, however, in 2016 I started a career within the event industry.

After attending a year diploma program at the Art Institute of Vancouver, I was fortunate enough to be hired by a company that specialized in children’s events. It was an amazing opportunity to be able to gain experience working in my desired career.

Due to our current unpredictable pandemic state, I was laid off in March of 2020.  Neverland Children’s Centre was my saving grace as Ana offered me a position as the  Kindergarten Room C teacher. Words cannot describe how happy I am to be back working with children. It brings me joy to see familiar faces and how much they have grown over the time away as well as meeting new little friends.

In my spare time I enjoy playing ice hockey, weekend adventures into the forest as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
